Junior Product Designer – Racing / Sport

Position

We are currently seeking a Junior Product Designer – Racing / Sport to join our Asolo based team to support in the design and development of innovative, functional, and stylish motorcycle apparel that meets the needs of motorcyclists.

Working under the guidance of senior designers, in this role you will contribute to the creation of protective and comfortable gear, including jackets, pants, and gloves. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as merchandising, material management, development, and pattern making, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in developing high-performance apparel.

Main responsibilities

• You will assist in the design and development of creative Racing / Sport styles, ensuring alignment with functional and aesthetic requirements, as well as a more user-focused approach aligned with brand identity and market needs.
• You will support in the preparation of production files in line with milestone plans and cost targets.
• You will also support the development of technical documentation, including sketches, specifications, material selections, and trims, and maintain updates in the PLM system.
• Moreover, you will also assist in researching market trends through online platforms, retail analysis, and industry insights to support design direction.
• You will assist in prototype reviews and testing phases, incorporating feedback to improve product performance and quality.
• Moreover, you will work closely with design, development, merchandising, and pattern making teams to support the product creation process.
• You will also support in the preparation of design presentations and materials for internal reviews.

Requirements

• Educational background in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design and / or related field.
• A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Graphic Design, design or product development (internships or academic projects relevant to apparel or sportswear are considered).
• Good knowledge of 2D/3D design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software such as Rhino or similar).
• Foundational understanding of textiles, materials, and garment construction.
• Strong interest in motorcycle apparel and motorsports.
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and collaborate across departments.
• Basic understanding and / or exposure to product development processes.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured way.
• Creative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow within the product design environment.
• Willingness to travel at international level (up to 20%).
