The Junior R&D Developer reports hierarchically to the Development Manager. Supports research projects focused on Polypropylene and/or Technopolymers compounding collaborating closely with the R&D team. Deals with product industrialization, following material transition from pilot lines to production plant. The role includes performing laboratory analyses and technical observations, interpreting the results, and preparing technical documents and quantitative reports to support project activities.
Main Activities
- Modification of existing product;
- Optimization of products and process;
- New product specifications definition;
- Specialist laboratory analysis.
Requirements Of The Position
- Master's degree in Chemistry;
- 0-3 years of experience;
- Good English language skills, both writing and speaking;
- Good knowledge of Office, especially Excel;
- Good knowledge of polymers and polymers processing particularly considering PP and its composites;
- Knowledge of the most common instruments used for polymers characterization: analytical tests (IR, DSC, DMA, …) and mechanical tests (preferable);
- Basics of polymer molding: injection molding, extrusion, blow molding (preferable).
