Accountabilities
Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS)
Define and manage system interfaces (both internal and external) throughout the entire project lifecycle
Analyze and assess technical documentation from suppliers
Prepare and verify system installation/integration drawings/specifications
Conduct design reviews (both internal and with suppliers) for the assigned onboard systems, under the supervision of relevant Engineering Managers and Project Engineers
Prepare Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), as well as Functional Test Specifications (FTS) (including performance tests) for the assigned onboard systems
Attend system stand‑alone type test and review of type test reports
Support onboard integration, performance testing and validation phases
Review design documentation with customers and suppliers
Ensure compliance with input requirements, international railway regulations and standards and project constraints (time, cost, quality)
Prepare the documentation required for vehicle approval and support the homologation phase
Required Skills/ Knowledge
Basic knowledge of system engineering and requirements management disciplines
Basic knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies
Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering disciplines
Good knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced, international and multicultural environment
Good organisational skills, alongside team‑working, problem‑solving and results‑driven mindset
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers)
Ability to work within project teams under minimal supervision
Availability for occasional short‑term national and international business trips
Desired Skills/ Knowledge
Minimum experience (1‑2 years) in the railway sector or in complex industrial environments
Basic knowledge of the main railway regulations and standards
Basic knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool
Basic knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations
Basic knowledge of RAMS discipline
Basic knowledge of electrical / mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.)
Fast learner with strong willingness to stay up to date with technological developments
Good business acumen combined with solid technical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Education/Qualifications Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics disciplines preferred).
Languages Knowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level).
Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B1, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.
Proponiamo una retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 33.000 € e 38.000 €.
