Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kafka / Confluent Solution Architect to design and implement scalable, real-time data streaming solutions. The role focuses on building robust event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform , ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect event-driven and streaming solutions using Kafka/Confluent
- Lead implementation of real-time data pipelines and integrations
- Define best practices for topic design, partitioning, and schema management
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance
- Integrate Kafka with microservices, APIs, and enterprise systems
- Implement security, governance, and monitoring for Kafka platforms
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentor teams
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka
- Hands-on expertise in Confluent Platform
- Experience with event-driven architecture & microservices
- Knowledge of Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, Connectors
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of data streaming, messaging systems, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
