As KAM - Data Center, you will establish, protect, and grow Eaton's product & services business within specified accounts. You will be responsible and accountable for orders and revenue attainment goals within assigned accounts. Your role involves building insights and relationships with client organizations to identify operational challenges and needs, utilizing Eaton expertise to generate high-value engineering and commercial proposals, and securing orders that promote profitable, sustainable growth. Effective communication and management of business interactions between both organizations are essential.
Responsibilities
- Establish, own, execute, and develop an agreed & sponsored commercial account plan.
- Identify & build positive relationships with all account decision-makers and influencers.
- Understand and articulate the client’s buying process.
- Identify and engage in revenue opportunities within defined accounts.
- Understand & capture client challenges & requirements related to Eaton's portfolio.
- Develop proposals that meet/exceed client requirements using internal resources.
- Follow the client buying journey to respond and offer proposals commercially.
- Oversee handover to post-sales service & customer support teams.
- Maintain oversight of all commercial engagements for customer success and vendor performance.
- Be knowledgeable of the client’s business, strategy, operations, and challenges to identify opportunities, risks, and growth potential.
- Be knowledgeable of Eaton's products, services, and business strategies to articulate value to clients.
- Advocate and communicate benefits internally within Eaton and externally within client organizations.
- Collaborate with other account and sales colleagues at national & global levels.
- Provide guidance and insights to internal departments to add value to the client.
- Build strong relationships across various departments within both organizations.
- Gain support and resources from leadership and facilitate executive engagement when needed.
- Support marketing campaigns and activities to promote Eaton to client relationships and business.
Qualifications
Education: BSc / MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 3+ years in sales or technical roles within Data Centre, IT, or Telecom Infrastructure industries
Technical Knowledge: Electrical or IT technical certifications, experience with data center or critical power infrastructure projects, sales engineering training/certification
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, team-oriented, fluent in English
