About the Role
We are looking for a Key Account Manager with solid experience in the retail DIY / home improvement sector to lead and grow our business in the Italian market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with major buying groups and retail chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts in the Italian market
- Negotiate commercial agreements with major buying groups and retail chains
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer performance
- Define and implement commercial plans and growth strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, product)
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular reporting to management
- Travel frequently across Italy
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in retail, preferably in DIY / home improvement
- Strong experience working with major buying groups
- High analytical skills and results-driven mindset
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across Italy
- Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable working in dynamic environments
Nice to Have
- Fluent and professional English level will be a plus
- Experience in international market development
- Knowledge of the Italian DIY retail landscape
- Ability to manage multiple key accounts simultaneously
