Land Acquisition Manager

Circular Resourcing are recruiting for a Land Acquisition Manager to identify and secure land acquisition opportunities in Italy for the development of large-scale renewable energy plants.

• You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating suitable land, building and maintaining strong relationships with landowners, local stakeholders, and strategic partners.
• The ideal candidate is results-oriented, has excellent communication and negotiation skills, and is able to plan and execute effective acquisition strategies, from the scouting phase to the formalization of agreements.

Location: remote/home-based with travel expected

Contract type: The role can be permanent, or options to freelance for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new land acquisition opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy projects in Italy
• Manage direct contacts with landowners, intermediaries, and local stakeholders to negotiate and conclude agreements (options, leases, easements, etc.)
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners and owners
• Collaborate with technical teams to assess the feasibility of identified sites
• Support permitting and project development teams throughout the entire life cycle of the initiative
• Maintain and expand an active pipeline of opportunities
• Plan strategically and critically to ensure project success

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, renewable project development, or business development in Italy
• Knowledge of the real estate and/or renewable energy market in Italy (preferred)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Proven experience in implementing successful development/acquisition strategies
• Reliable, transparent, and able to build trusting relationships
• Strong goal orientation and organizational skills
• Fluent Italian; good knowledge of English is a plus
