Modena 40 is CFMOTO’s European Research and Development Center, based in Rimini, Italy, where art, technology and creativity come together through a shared passion for motorcycles. Founded in 2016 by Carles Solsona, former motocross rider and Design Director for CFMOTO two-wheel vehicles, the center is dedicated to the design and technical development of advanced motorcycles. The Modena 40 team is composed of highly skilled creative and technical professionals with expertise in the latest technologies, working closely with the headquarters in Hangzhou to develop exciting new products and strategies. The center also contributes to branding and marketing activities aimed at expanding CFMOTO’s presence in the European market.

Role Description

We are looking for a SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER , a high-level professional with preferably more than 15 years of experience in motorcycle design and development, capable of independently managing both their own work and a team of designers.

Main responsibilities include collaborating with the R&D team on the development of new motorcycle models, analyzing technical data and supporting product design and optimization activities. The role will also provide support to the Design Department. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively within a team and a genuine interest in technological innovation.

Qualifications and Skills

·      Full vehicle management, from initial layout definition to the design of sub-assemblies and individual components, based on the Technical Director’s guidelines

·      Solid background in mechanical design and engineering with experience using design software such as NX

·      Competence in data management and numerical analysis for continuous product performance improvement

·      Strong problem-solving, teamwork and priority management skills to achieve shared objectives (including timeline management and team coordination)

·      Passion for motorcycles and interest in innovative technologies are considered a plus
