The Recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of Tecnimont.

The Layout & Piping Design & Drafting Coordinator will be in charge to review and develop internal guidelines, recommendations and specifications that need to be taken in consideration for the detail engineering of the Layout for NextChem Tech plant.

He/She will support the Engineering team in developing the preliminary Unit Layout and to study the best arrangement of the critical piping routing required for the Feasibility Study, Basic Design or Front End Engineering Design for the technologies developed within NextChem.

The specialist will also interact with specialized Vendors to investigate the more suitable material to be used for specific technologies in terms of piping lifecycle, safety, supply and construction costs.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Develop layout optimization for Technologies developed by NextChem considering correct accessibility, maintenance requirement, process recommendations and produce specific Guidelines and Specifications;
• Support the Process/Technological team for the preparation of P&ID, Fluid Lists and Line List;
• Prepare General Layout and Section View as deliverables to be provided to Clients or for the preparation of internal Process Design Package with specific attention to the optimization and value engineering that can be implemented already in these preliminary stages;
• Propose and develop possible optimization in unitary schemes proposed by Other Licensors inside the units developed by NextChem if they can affect positively the overall plant layout;
• Coordinate and participate in development of conceptual and preliminary 3D model;
• Participate in model review carried on by Engineering executive companies to check the compliance of 3D model with technological guidelines provided;
• Monitor and coordinate the specialists of external Engineering Companies for the execution of the assigned engineering activities according to Nextchem Tech recommendations;
• Provide a preliminary estimation of the Piping Material Quantities, depending on the Specific Project for each typical Nextchem plant typology and size;
• To assist the Head of Department in guaranteeing the application and the continuous update of the department and Company standards, procedures, and work instructions.

Personal Attributes:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Plant design of Engineering Companies;
• Degree in Engineering Discipline or Diploma in Technical Discipline;
• Coordination of Piping Design team coordination;
• Know how in Piping Classes definition;
• Requested knowledge of the following tools Aveva E3D, Intergraph S3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks;
• Fluent English speaker and writer;
• Availability to travel in Italy and abroad;

Contract Type and Classification:

• Contract type: Permanent
• Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011)
• Job classification level: Middle Manager, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement

Compensation:

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be 46,000.00€

• The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus.
• Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
