Key Responsibilities

• Supervises booking, gives quotations on LCL import and export, handles entries, completes Bill of Lading (BoL) and sea freight documents.
• Supervise the carrier booking transactions and follows the billing.
• Maintains relationships with Maersk offices at destination/origin, customers, and vendors.
• Offers assistance in the resolution of customers queries and issues, both in Italian and English.
• Data processing and reports.

We are looking for

A quite round professional, with a good knowledge of the shipping industry, import and export, and the proper professional behaviour. Strong communication skills in Italian and English are instrumental for the role as you will talk and write with customers and internal stakeholders. Financial understanding is highly appreciated and you will have to ensure the costs and incomes are captured in the systems. Detail orientation and hands‑on approach will help you solve the daily operations.

Additional Information

• The position is based in Genoa or Milan, Italy.
• This is a fixed term contract, 12 months.
