YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for a Lead Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team, focusing on the design and delivery of OpenText Content Management solutions for public sector customers, combining your expertise in cloud, infrastructure, and platform architecture to drive successful implementations. As a trusted advisor, you will shape customer decisions and ensure long-term value from their technology investments.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Designing end-to-end architectures for OpenText Content Management (Extended ECM) platforms and related integrations (OTDS, Archive Server, SAP, Salesforce, Office365 etc.)
- Leading technical delivery across hybrid, cloud, and on-prem environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure, container platforms)
- Defining and guiding infrastructure, integration, and deployment architectures (including APIs and enterprise systems)
- Acting as a trusted advisor on modernization, cloud adoption, and best practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, partners, and customer stakeholders
- Supporting pre-sales and bid activities with solution design expertise
- Driving quality, governance, and reusable standards across implementations
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Proven experience as a Solution or Technical Architect in complex enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in:
- IT infrastructure & networking (Linux/Windows, web/app servers, databases)
- Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Enterprise application integration (APIs, microservices, middleware)
- Content/document management systems (ideally OpenText xECM )
- Experience delivering large-scale customer implementations or transformations
- Candidates located in/around Rome are preferred, as on-site presence at our clients' premises is required a few days per week
- Willingness to continuously learn and apply new technologies
- Fluency in Italian and English
