About Nebuly
Nebuly is a fast-growing, VC-backed startup building the data and intelligence infrastructure for enterprise AI agents.
Every enterprise function - sales, customer support, HR, finance - is deploying AI agents at scale. Every day, millions of conversations happen between employees and customers and these agents. Those conversations are the most valuable new data asset an enterprise produces - but they are unstructured, high-volume, and invisible without the right infrastructure.
Nebuly plugs into the conversations flowing between users and enterprise AI agents, builds structured knowledge graphs from them, and surfaces the patterns that help leaders make decisions on adoption, quality, and ROI.
Our customers include Fastweb + Vodafone, CNH, Oura, and others. Demand is accelerating fast - and we are building the team to match.
Why this role matters
We are scaling fast. More customers, more contracts, more months to close, more regulators asking questions. The founder has been carrying the operational backbone of this company - legal, finance, compliance - on top of everything else.
This role exists to take that off the table entirely. It has four hats. You will wear all of them. If one of them does not appeal to you, do not apply.
Contracts. Our sales process runs through a pilot. Getting into that pilot means moving fast on an NDA, an LOI, sometimes a DPA. Closing after it means negotiating an MSA without leaving us exposed on things like an uncapped liability clause. You own that motion end to end — not perfectly, but quickly and commercially. You negotiate firmly without being the kind of lawyer that makes everyone want to walk away from the deal.
Finance. Monthly accounts, board material, investor reporting. Clean, accurate, on time. The CFO sets the strategy; you make sure the numbers are always in order and the materials are always ready.
Compliance. We operate in a regulated space — GDPR, EU AI Act. Our technical lead handles implementation. You handle the legal interpretation, the documentation, and making sure we can answer a hard question from a customer's DPO without scrambling.
Revenue ops. You will set up and maintain the reporting layer in HubSpot that feeds into our planning and investor updates. We will train you on the tooling — what we cannot train is the rigour and ownership that makes this useful.
English is the primary working language across all four. Spoken and written, every day.
What you'll do
Contracts & Legal Ops
- Own the contract workflow across the full sales cycle — NDA and DPA to get into a pilot, MSA to close it
- Run redline exchanges with customer legal teams: know what to hold, what to give, and when to escalate to external counsel
- Keep templates sharp and up to date as our product and commercial model evolves
Finance Operations
- Prepare monthly accounts and keep the books clean
- Own board and investor reporting materials — structured, accurate, never late
- Support the CFO on financial planning inputs and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Compliance
- Handle the legal and documentation side of GDPR and EU AI Act compliance
- Work alongside our technical lead who covers implementation — you cover interpretation, documentation, and customer-facing responses
- Track regulatory changes and flag anything that requires action before it becomes a problem
Revenue Operations
- Build and maintain the HubSpot reporting layer that feeds our sales pipeline visibility, forecasting, and investor updates
- Keep data clean and reporting reliable so decisions are based on facts, not gut feel
What we're looking for
- A law degree or equivalent legal training — you do not need to be a qualified lawyer, but you need to be genuinely comfortable reading, marking up, and negotiating commercial contracts
- 2-4 years in a legal ops, paralegal, finance, or business operations role — startup or fast-paced commercial environment preferred
- Solid grasp of basic accounting and financial reporting — comfortable in Excel, not afraid of a P&L
- Familiarity with GDPR; exposure to the EU AI Act is a strong plus
- Fluent English, spoken and written — this is your primary working language across contracts, reporting, and compliance
- Proficient across the standard toolkit: Word, Excel, PowerPoint — and open to using AI tools (we use Claude heavily) to move faster and do more
- Organised and rigorous — you manage multiple workstreams, nothing falls through the cracks, and you do not need to be chased
- Proactive and commercially minded — you flag issues before they become problems and you understand that the goal is closing deals, not legal perfection
- A good negotiator who is also a good human — firm when it counts, never the person who poisons a relationship over a clause
No prior RevOps or HubSpot experience required. We will train you.
What we offer
Real ownership. You are not inheriting a process. You are building one. The way contracts get closed, books get kept, and compliance gets managed at Nebuly — that will be yours.
A direct line to the top. You report to the Co-founder. No middle layers, no bureaucracy. You will be in the room where decisions get made and you will understand the business at a level most people at your stage never get.
A role that grows with you. We are early. As the company scales, so does the scope. What starts as a hands-on execution role becomes something bigger — and you will have built the foundations yourself.
Competitive salary + equity. Top-of-market for a startup role, plus meaningful stock options in a company that is growing fast and has the backing to match.
Hybrid and flexible. We are based in Turin and we like being together, but we care about output, not hours.
