We are looking for a Legal Counsel (Retail Expansion) to join an international and dynamic legal department. The ideal profile will support the Legal Team locally and collaborate with legal teams worldwide. The new role will start in September 2026 and will report directly to the General Manager and the General Counsel (Matrix Manager). It requires a motivated, relationship‑driven problem solver who can provide clear, timely, and practical counsel on civil, business, and commercial law to the company and LPP Capital Group. Your role

Provide legal support for drafting, negotiating, and supervising commercial lease agreements for the company’s stores. This includes negotiations with landlords and tenants, liaison with shopping‑centre managers, legal support in construction and fitting‑out processes, and participation in dispute resolution. Manage multiple lease projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring accurate legal analysis and attention to detail. Translate lease agreements from Italian to English, and conduct negotiations in bilingual format, delivering mark‑ups in both languages. Draft contracts and other legal documents (statements, powers of attorney, constitutional acts, internal decisions, addresses, notifications, and other communications) required by the company. Maintain contact with public authorities and institutions. Advise management and company personnel on a range of commercial matters, including lease matters. Supervise external legal counsel and assess their deliverables. Collaborate with internal legal and business colleagues on corporate initiatives. Prepare legal opinions on the company’s activities. Respond to communications received by the company – preparing legal responses. Draft, analyze, and legalize commercial contracts following internal procedures and applicable legislation. Verify and approve the legality of contracts, conventions, agreements, and protocols concluded by the company. Review and revise existing company contracts as needed, ensuring compliance with contracting processes and legal provisions. Participate in contract negotiations. Manage relationships with contract partners and monitor compliance with legal and contractual obligations, reporting issues that could impact company activity. Stay updated on legislative changes and inform company departments accordingly. Your profile

Master’s degree in Law with proficiency in civil, business, and tax law. Minimum five years of experience in in‑house or legal firm practice, with at least one year working for an international company or clients. Proven experience negotiating lease agreements for shopping centres/retail. Fluency in English (legal and business). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of legal practices and experience drafting documents. Knowledge of general corporate transactional law. Knowledge of contract development. Strong negotiation, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to work within deadlines. Integrity and professional ethics. Attorneys’ certificate is an additional plus.
