The Davines Group, founded in Parma in 1983, specializes in professional cosmetic products under the brands Davines for haircare and ( comfort zone ) for skincare. JOB MISSION
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? We’re looking for passionate individuals eager to help grow our Finance&Administration Department while while upholding our core values of beauty, ethics, and sustainability. As our Legal Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support in the management, protection and enforcement of Intellectual property rights, as well as in the drafting and negotiation of media‑related contracts. The role ensures compliance to applicable laws and standards, mitigates legal and reputational risks for the company, and supports the development of innovative solutions aligned with company’ sustainable values.
What You Will Do
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements, in Italian and English, concerning the company’s intellectual property rights and intangible assets, as well as agreements related to media and communication activities including, licencing, assignment, service agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
- Legal Consultation and Disputes: Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice and operational support to internal departments. Coordinate external counsel and law firms in providing legal opinions and managing intellectual property disputes, including the preparation of required documentation.
- Intellectual Property: Handle operational tasks related to the monitoring, protection and management of intellectual property rights. Maintain and update company’s internal intellectual property rights databases, in coordination with external counsel.
- Corporate Governance: Support Legal Affairs Manager in business risks assessment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations, and participating in corporate compliance activities.
Who You Are
- Master’s degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in intellectual property law, gained in an international law firm and/or within the Intellectual Property department of an international company.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- Good planning and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
