About the Role

As the Director of Legal, you will serve as a strategic advisor, overseeing legal matters across compliance, civil law, labour law, administrative law, and other related areas. Your expertise will be instrumental in proactively addressing risks, ensuring compliance with legislative changes, and aligning legal strategies with business goals. In this position, you will work closely with key stakeholders to anticipate the implications of new regulations, laws, and EU directives, preparing the company to adapt seamlessly while maintaining operational excellence. Experience in a global corporate environment is essential, where agility, foresight, and a generalist legal background are key.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal support to ensure compliance in all business operations.
• Identify and mitigate risks across various legal domains, including labour and administrative law.
• Monitor and implement strategies to address legislative changes and emerging EU directives impacting the IT industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal processes align with the dynamic needs of the sector.
• Act as the primary legal advisor, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Build and lead a team of legal professionals, cultivating innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Legal Advisor / Head of Legal, preferably within a global corporate environment.
• Expertise in compliance, civil law, labour law, and administrative law.
• Experience working in an international law firm is required.
• Availability for travel at both national and international levels.
• Strong ability to anticipate and address legal and regulatory challenges.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Must have residence in Bolzano or be available to establish residency in Bolzano.
