Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle all property-related legal work, draft and review legal documents, liaise with regulatory bodies, and manage litigation matters. This is a hands‑on role suited to a legal professional with a strong foundation in real estate and property law.
Responsibilities & Duties
Conduct property searches and perform title checks and verifications
Draft legal documents including Deeds of Conveyance, Agreements for Sale, Tenancy Agreements, Agency Agreements, Lease Deeds, Leave & License Agreements, Gift Deeds, Wills, and more
Prepare and manage Development Agreements, General Powers of Attorney, and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs)
Handle registration of deeds at DSR and ADSR offices and prepare documentation for mutation and conversion processes
Draft and review work contracts to ensure compliance and quality
Coordinate with internal departments (Administration, HR, Finance & Accounts, Marketing) for all legal compliance requirements
Liaise with regulatory authorities connected with projects to ensure full compliance with applicable rules and regulations, mitigating risks of dispute or litigation
Meet and coordinate with Solicitors, Counsels, and external legal professionals
Keep the Projects Team updated on the latest regulatory changes, building construction laws, RERA, and other relevant legislation
Handle various litigation matters including Writs, Suits, and Arbitration proceedings
Draft Plaints, Written Statements, Petitions, Notices and their Replies; prepare Case Summaries and Lists of Dates
Conduct legal research and provide informed opinions on a wide range of legal issues
Attend court hearings and provide timely follow-ups on pending matters
Advise management on all legal matters and mitigate legal risks for the organization
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2–8 years of relevant legal experience, experience in the real estate sector is strongly preferred
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Sound knowledge of property law, RERA, and related regulations
Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in coordinating with government offices, courts, and regulatory bodies
