Location: Milan, Italy (Hybrid/Flexible)

Salary: €40,000 - €55,000

The Role

My client is currently recruiting a Legal Specialist – Corporate Governance to join the in-house legal team in Italy. This is a key position supporting the company’s growth and compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions.


The successful candidate will provide legal support on corporate governance matters, with a particular focus on group structure, regulatory compliance, and corporate formalities linked to project development and asset management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance matters across group entities in Italy and other European jurisdictions
  • Draft and manage board resolutions, shareholder meeting documentation, and internal governance policies
  • Ensure compliance with local and EU regulations, company law requirements, and sector-specific obligations
  • Liaise with external counsel, notaries, and regulatory bodies where required
  • Support group-level projects, transactions, and internal legal processes
  • Maintain and update company registers, licenses, and filings


Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Law; qualification to practise law in Italy preferred
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector
  • 3+ years’ experience in a legal or compliance function, ideally within the energy, infrastructure, or regulated sectors
  • Solid understanding of corporate governance, company law, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working with international structures and multi-jurisdictional operations is an advantage
  • Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
