Now Hiring: Line Cook – Belles Beach House, Venice
Pay: $23 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Venice, CA
Belles Beach House is a laid-back yet elevated Hawaiian-inspired restaurant and bar nestled just steps from the sand in Venice. With a breezy, tropical vibe and a focus on fresh, coastal flavors, we’re looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen crew and help us deliver vibrant dishes in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.
About the Role
As a Line Cook at Belles Beach House, you’ll play a key role in executing our signature island-inspired menu with consistency, efficiency, and flair. This position is perfect for someone who’s passionate about bold flavors, thrives in a team environment, and enjoys the rhythm of a busy kitchen.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare dishes according to recipe and plating standards with an eye for detail
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked station throughout service
- Assist with preparation and execution of menu staples like poke bowls, grilled proteins, and shareable plates
- Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, expeditors, and management to ensure seamless service
- Accommodate guest allergies and dietary preferences with care and professionalism
- Help with opening/closing tasks including restocking, sanitation, and station setup/breakdown
- Take part in ongoing training and team-building activities
What We’re Looking For
- Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Familiarity with coastal, Pacific Rim, or Hawaiian cuisine is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to stay cool under pressure
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering great food every time
