We are looking for a Senior Logistics Buyer to join our office in Milan.

Reporting Directly To The Procurement Manager, You Will

Manage end-to-end procurement activities for logistics services in EPCI projects

Focus on complex logistics flows

Lead negotiation for multimodal transport solutions (road, sea, river)

Transport of cable drums (large and extra-large reels, escort transport)

Freight forwarding services for land and submarine cables

Storage and handling operations at port and onshore ISA last-mile transport to installation sites customs

Develop logistics contracting strategies aligned with project schedules, installation sequences, and risk mitigation plans

Optimize cost structures while ensuring service reliability under tight project timelines

Monitor and assess supplier performance through KPIs

Manage critical escalations through an effective multi-stakeholder coordination

Work closely with Project Management, Engineering and Operations to ensure full alignment between procurement and execution phases

Ensure contractual compliance, including insurance clauses, liabilities, delivery terms and project-specific requirements

Have a direct and tangible impact on large-scale energy projects

Actively contribute to energy transition

Be exposed to complex, global logistics operations

Be involved in strategic decision-making for logistics solutions

Lead the development and the qualification of new logistics suppliers

You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are

Fluent in English and Italian

Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain

5+ years in logistics procurement

Experience in multimodal and heavy cargo

Knowledge of contractual templates

Strong analytical and negotiation skills

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset

What We Offer

Type of contract: Permanent

Job Level/Category: (Impiegato) in line with the applicable collective agreement.

Gross annual salary no less than: € 38.000,00

The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
