Logistics Operations Intern

We are looking for a person who will join Moleskine as a Logistics Operations Intern. The position is hybrid based in Milan.Scope of the roleThe person that will join our team, will take care of operational activities of inbound and outbound flows, working closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.The role combines operational execution and analytical/reporting activities.Main activities:Support in organizing and coordinating transportation (sea, road, air)Shipment tracking and preparation of operational reports using Excel and SAPCollection, verification, and updating of related dataSupport in managing logistics and transport documentationInteraction with freight supplier, forwarders and logistics service providersSupport in basic transportation cost analysisRequirements:Degree (completed or in progress) in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or related fieldsAcademic exposure to business, operations, or supply chain topics is considered a plusBasic knowledge of import and distribution logistics processesNice to have:Basic knowledge of Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with ERP systems or logistics software is a plusGood organizational and time-management skillsTraining Objectives:The intern should be able to grasp by the end of the internship the following objectives:Knowledge of import logistics and transportation processesOperational skills in shipment coordinationProficiency in Excel-based reporting and analysisUnderstanding of logistics KPIs and cost structuresAbility to work in a team and interact with external partnersMoleskine is an equal opportunity employer.
