Luxury Watch Specialist – Milan & Paris

We work with private clients who want to sell high-value pieces, helping them move through the process with the right expertise, discretion and care.

As our watch activity grows, we are looking for a Luxury Watch Specialist to support our team in Milan and Paris.

About the role

We are looking for someone who knows luxury watches well and can help our team assess the watches we receive from private clients.

The role includes reviewing watches, checking authenticity, condition and documentation, and giving the team a clear view of what we have in front of us and what should happen next.

This is a good fit for someone with hands-on experience in the luxury watch market, strong attention to detail, and the ability to explain findings clearly to a team that is not necessarily technical.

A full-time, part-time or freelance setup can be considered, depending on experience and availability.

What you’ll do

• Review luxury watches received from private clients.
• Assess authenticity, condition, documentation and other relevant details.
• Identify signs of wear, servicing, replacement parts, damage, inconsistencies or anything that may require further review.
• Share clear feedback with the team on the watch’s condition and recommended next steps.
• Help the team understand when further technical inspection or external verification is needed.
• Work with the Milan team, sales team, valuation experts and international HQ.
• Support client appointment days or dedicated watch review days when needed.
• Help improve the way we review and document watches internally.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working with luxury watches.
• Strong knowledge of luxury watch authentication, condition review and valuation.
• Familiarity with leading luxury watch brands and the pre-owned watch market.
• Understanding of mechanical and automatic watches.
• Ability to identify signs of wear, servicing, replacement parts, damage or inconsistencies.
• High attention to detail, discretion and professional integrity.
• Ability to explain findings clearly and practically to a non-technical team.
• Based in Milan or Paris.
• Good Italian and English.

Nice to have

• Formal watchmaking training or certification.
• Experience as a watchmaker, watch specialist, authenticator, dealer, auction house expert or luxury watch advisor.
• Experience with luxury watch pricing or valuation.
• Experience working with private clients or the premium market.
• Good French.
• Availability to travel occasionally for client meetings or watch review days in France or other locations.
