MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS INTERN

Founded in 2013, arKap is an advisory firm headquartered in Zurich (CH) with an office in Turin (ITA). Our firm supports European SMEs on Corporate Finance and strategy matters to support their growth. Our services are focused and committed on value generation for our clients.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Starting in September 2025 we are seeking an M&A Analyst (Intern), whose primary role will be to strengthen our support for a client committed in expanding its operations through domestic and cross-border acquisitions. The role will also involve active participation in the origination and execution of other M&A projects within Italy and Europe and across diversified industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathering information from databases and conducting market researches.
  • Preparation of marketing materials (teasers, info memos), pitches, and presentations.
  • Market and financial statements analysis.
  • Use a range of valuation techniques to support client advice including discounted cash flows, trading comps analysis, transaction comps analysis, and “LBO-based” valuations.
  • Support the team in coordinating the transaction process both internally and with other advisors.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Enrolled in a master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent and available for a Curricular Internship.
  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis, business planning, modelling, and valuation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and business acumen.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office 365 suite.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to take initiative, and a result-driven attitude.
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian (knowledge of other languages is definitely an advantage).
