As a Machine Learning Engineer, your mission is to elevate Retail with AI-Driven Solutions.

The final goals are to transform the retail strategy with our AI-powered platform, designed to curate the finest deals and streamline product discovery for consumers, and empower global marketing efforts with automation and personalized content that resonates with shoppers.

Since you will be working in a highly collaborative environment, you will cooperate with Data and Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers.

Your mission

Your main responsibilities include:

• Information Extraction and Enrichment from unstructured content
• Data Platform activities (e.g., ETLs, ELTs)
• Multi-Modal Extreme classification
• Semantic Similarity in a Multi-Modal setting
• Recommendation systems

Examples of tasks:

• Work independently on data pipelines, write SQL queries, process data using Pandas, Polars, or Spark, and follow good MLOps practices to develop and deploy AI models serving over 100k predictions daily.
• Design and develop AI solutions from problem definition to deployment, processing unstructured content like images and text to extract valuable data.
• Maintain and improve extensive Python codebases, adhering to internal coding standards.
• Stay updated with advancements in AI, integrating new architectures or open-source models to add value for clients.

What you bring

• Proficient in Python, with experience in Pytorch, Pandas, FastAPI/Flask, HuggingFace ecosystem, and strong software engineering skills.
• Autonomous in building data, modeling, and deployment pipelines (MLOps).
• Advanced knowledge of NLP and Generative AI, including Transformers, GPT, and projects like text classification, NER, caption generation, and unstructured data extraction.
• Solid understanding of neural architectures in Computer Vision, such as YOLO, and experience with Multi-Modal Language and Vision-Language Models.
• Knowledge of Search engines like OpenSearch or Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Experience with recommendation engines (collaborative, content-based, knowledge-based filtering) using deep learning or libraries like Surprise, LightFM, Implicit is beneficial.
