Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Overahaul Maintenance coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Napoli - IT .
Accountabilities
- Coordinate and supervise cyclical and corrective maintenance activities for high-speed trains.
- Ensure compliance with scheduled maintenance timelines and deadlines.
- Liaise with suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Manage maintenance personnel by assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and update technical documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement plans.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Competencies (optional)
- Supervision and coordination of technical teams.
- Planning and management of maintenance activities.

- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Skills/ Knowledge
- Proven experience in maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Project, Word, and Excel.
- Strong team and project management skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.
Desired Skills/ Knowledge
- Previous experience in coordination/management roles.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and data analysis.
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, OR at least 10 years of experience in the railway maintenance sector.
Languages (optional)
- Italian: advanced level (mandatory for all production-related positions).
- English: intermediate/advanced level (preferred).
