Role Overview
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Civitanova Marche (Italy) .
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production, packaging, and specialized equipment used in the pharmaceutical and radiopharmaceutical sectors. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems, working closely with internal teams and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, systems, and specialized equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring timely intervention
- Monitor system performance and implement actions to improve reliability and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GMP and pharmaceutical quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with production teams and international partners to optimize processes and operations
- Prepare technical documentation, maintenance reports, and service records
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical field
- Solid understanding of equipment maintenance, including preventive and corrective approaches
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems and GMP regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a hands‑on mindset
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 70%) in Italy and abroad
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Experience in the radiopharmaceutical or similar high‑tech industries is a plus
- Knowledge of a second foreign language and/or basic Siemens PLC programming is considered an advantage
