Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Civitanova Marche (Italy) .

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production, packaging, and specialized equipment used in the pharmaceutical and radiopharmaceutical sectors. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems, working closely with internal teams and international partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, systems, and specialized equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring timely intervention
• Monitor system performance and implement actions to improve reliability and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with GMP and pharmaceutical quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with production teams and international partners to optimize processes and operations
• Prepare technical documentation, maintenance reports, and service records
• Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical field
• Solid understanding of equipment maintenance, including preventive and corrective approaches
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems and GMP regulations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a hands‑on mindset
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 70%) in Italy and abroad
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Experience in the radiopharmaceutical or similar high‑tech industries is a plus
• Knowledge of a second foreign language and/or basic Siemens PLC programming is considered an advantage
