Maintenance Planner

What you will be doing

You will work in the AFEU Maintenance Management team, supporting Wärtsilä long‑term agreement customers in their daily and long‑term operations. The goal is to optimise installation lifecycle costs and overall performance by collaborating with Products and Operations experts.

Responsibilities

• Create contract lifetime maintenance plan.
• Update annual and detailed maintenance plans for the assigned contracts and prepare input for annual financial maintenance planning.
• Create the sales opportunities in CRM, or if part of contract, in maintenance management tool.
• Act timely to ensure the availability of required spare parts, exchange parts, field service resources and maintenance tools for maintenance tasks are at installation as per maintenance plan.
• Monitor site spare part inventory if applicable.
• Monitor that the maintenance tasks are executed within the targeted time and the Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Guidelines are followed as well as Customer Site Procedures.
• Communicate with Contract Managers and customers in the area of maintenance management.

• Willingness and possibility to travel when business requires.
• MSc. degree in Engineering is required.
• Fluent English is a must‑have condition.

Employment Relationship

Position is permanent. Preferred location: Trieste (Italy). Travel required: approximately 20%.
