Maintenance Supervisor(s) - 2nd & 3rd Shifts

We are working with a global manufacturing company that has a need for off-shift maintenance supervisors to support their large heavy manufacturing operation in the South Cleveland area (Newburgh Heights). The facility has a strong book of business for the next 8-10 years and offers opportunities for growth in maintenance, project management, or operations.
Under the direction of the Maintenance Area Lead, this position is responsible for training, coaching, and motivating hourly crafts personnel to ensure reliable equipment that meets customer quality and delivery requirements. The role includes managing a team of hourly personnel assigned to their area and shift. The incumbent communicates regularly with the Engineering and EHS Departments, as well as with Control Technicians and Maintenance Leads. External communication with vendors and contractors is also required.
Basic Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in the Military.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a unionized environment.
- Troubleshooting experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Availability to work 2nd shift (6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) or 3rd shift (10 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.).
- Must have US person status due to ITAR requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical college degree, journeyman status, or military equivalent.
- Experience with Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers.
- Knowledge of motor control centers and distribution control systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a multi-dimensional team.
Offerings
- Base salary ranges from $85K to $100K, depending on experience and credentials.
- Overtime pay at $125 per 2-hour block for all hours worked over 40 hours per week. Weekends are paid as overtime (16 hours or 8 blocks at $1,000), and holidays are paid at double time.
- Annual bonus, 401K with 6% match, an additional 3% contribution to the 401K, and a full benefits package starting on the first day.
