  • Manager Product Marketing at ASM,

Key Responsibilities

  1. New Product Introduction (NPI): Conduct detailed market analysis, assess product-market fit, develop business plans, align internally, and position products.
  2. Product Life Cycle Management: Drive products from conception to high-volume manufacturing and eventual obsolescence, continuously improving processes for operational efficiency.
  3. Product Roadmaps: Envision, define, and deliver product roadmaps, updating them through customer and internal discussions.
  4. Cross-functional Program Management: Manage R&D projects supporting the product roadmap, align priorities, and work with development teams on specifications and success metrics.
  5. Financial Management: Oversee product cost structures, execute margin improvement strategies, and work with finance on NPV and IRR calculations.
  6. Business Planning and Market Analysis: Present at company meetings, create business plans and forecasts, support budgeting, and conduct competitive analysis.
  7. Customer Engagement: Develop customer presentations, perform market and competitive analyses, and analyze the cost of ownership.
  8. Competitive Analysis: Develop product scorecards and understand competitive dynamics affecting solutions and opportunities.
  9. Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers to develop capabilities for new products.
  10. Strategic Marketing and Communications: Develop IP and licensing strategies, prepare go-to-market strategies, and create strategic presentations for executives.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in product management or technical marketing within the semiconductor capital equipment or related industry.
  • Masters or higher in Materials Science, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience in semiconductor processes or devices, especially deposition technology, is advantageous.
  • Experience with customer engagement or supplier management.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and understand the product lifecycle deeply.
  • Proficiency with capital equipment systems in semiconductors or similar industries.
  • Willingness to travel globally (~10%).
