Hybrid working based in Rome or Milan. Gartner’s Consulting business is an extension of Gartner’s industry‑leading IT Research. We help clients across enterprises translate insights into transformational actions and achieve their mission‑critical priorities. What You’ll Do

You will play a lead role executing IT strategy projects while advising clients on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes. You will be a highly skilled member of a high‑level technology strategy team.

What You’ll Need

• Experience within a well‑regarded management consultancy in a project delivery capacity
• Experience in Application Development or Digital Transformation from a technical perspective
• Understanding in at least one core domain such as Application Architecture and Roadmap, Digital Transformation, Agile/DevOps, Cloud solution, Cost Optimisation, Data and GenAi etc.
• Prior knowledge of sizing methodologies such as IFPUG (plus)
• Experience working with one or more IT solutions
• Unwavering commitment to team success and willingness to provide and receive constructive/corrective action when needed
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to assist in creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems
• Ability to be hands‑on and manage multiple client priorities simultaneously
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• Fluent in Italian essential

Consulting Experience

• Experience within a well‑regarded management consultancy in a project delivery capacity.
• Prior experience in a problem‑solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst preferred.
• Consistent track record of leading people and building high‑performing teams that leverage technology to drive mission‑critical priorities.
• Ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non‑technical backgrounds towards a common goal.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems, adapting Gartner frameworks and methodologies at the client’s heart.
• Hands‑on ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
• Excellence in written and verbal communication.
• Expertise with strategic consulting frameworks.
• Building rapid prototypes for presentations / sales proposals.
• Excellent people skills and customer relationship track record.
• Experience in developing client business relationships as part of a commercial organization.
