Marine Technical Sales Manager

Total responsibility for all sales activities for all Marine product lines within EMEA in close cooperation with the Segment Directors. The Marine Senior Manager is responsible for achieving yearly sales and cost targets by organizing, motivating, and leading the sales team. Ensures team performance across EMEA, with some reports in China and Asia, and that team members meet their targets.

- Optimize, motivate, and lead the sales force within assigned regions;
- Develop a high-performing sales team;
- Manage key accounts in the region;
- Expand customer base and increase sales through share shift, end-user initiatives, and regional training;
- Utilize Salesforce.co for funnel management and sales tracking;
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and activity tracking via SFDC;
- Identify customer needs and relate them to new products/services;
- Implement the RR Business System and philosophy into the sales force;
- Collect and report market information to segmentation teams;
- Control costs within the sales department budget;
- Develop annual regional company plans;
- Monitor activities and initiate changes as needed;
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to set strategic objectives.
The Marine Senior Manager is authorized to handle personnel matters (such as leave, performance appraisals, personnel file inspections, training) and sales budget for the EMEA region.
Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent, combined with a business degree. Several years of international sales management experience in a multinational company. Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are desirable. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Experience in team management. Good communication skills. Flexible, practical, with quality awareness. Willingness to travel up to 75%.
