The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for defining, coordinating, and executing all marketing, communication, media relations, and stakeholder engagement activities aimed at promoting the organization’s events, products, services, and brands. The role ensures the development of integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, drive customer acquisition and retention, support commercial objectives, and enhance the overall customer experience.ResponsibilitiesDefining and coordinating all online and offline marketing activities, including show visual identity, messaging, promotional materials, content generation and brand positioning.Developing and implementing integrated media plans across B2B and B2C audiences, both in Italy and internationally.Planning and managing sponsorship programmes and participation in third‑party events to increase visibility and strengthen market positioning.Organising workshops, conferences, networking events and other engagement initiatives supporting business development objectives.Developing and coordinating multimedia communication packages, including brochures, direct marketing materials, videos, digital assets, presentations and point‑of‑purchase materials.Managing hosted buyer programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing exhibitor and visitor acquisition and retention.Selecting, coordinating and evaluating external agencies, consultants and suppliers, including creative agencies, media agencies, customer insight providers, registration providers and other marketing partners.Supporting sales teams through the development of tailored marketing materials, customer presentations and event‑related meeting management.Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations, institutions, strategic partners and other relevant organisations.Coordinating all press and media relations activities, including the management of external PR agencies, press conferences and relationships with national and international journalists.Monitoring market trends, customer behaviour and industry developments to identify opportunities and support strategic decision‑making.Collecting, analysing and reporting event performance data, marketing results and customer insights to evaluate effectiveness and support continuous improvement.Managing marketing, communication and association budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and compliance with business objectives.Contributing to the development of corporate strategic plans, business initiatives and cross‑functional projects.Managing and developing a small team of marketing and communication professionals, including objective setting, performance evaluation, coaching, development planning and compensation recommendations.Ensuring that all marketing and communication activities are delivered in alignment with company policies, brand guidelines, operational priorities and business plans.Qualifications and SkillsAbility to operate effectively in fast‑changing market environments, identifying challenges and implementing timely and appropriate solutions.Strong capability to develop, execute and optimise strategic marketing plans aimed at increasing brand awareness, market penetration, exhibitor acquisition, visitor attendance and customer retention.Proactive mindset with the ability to independently manage projects, define workflows and successfully deliver both new launches and existing initiatives.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics, market data and customer insights to support decision‑making.Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with customers, associations, institutions, partners and media representatives.Proven budget planning, management and control capabilities.Strong digital mindset and interest in leveraging technology and innovative solutions to improve customer engagement and experience.Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills.Leadership capability with experience managing and developing small teams while fostering collaboration and accountability.CompensationPrimary Location Base Pay Range: Italy – Milan (Via Marostica) €51500 - €85900.
