About the position
Our team is always focusing on helping our customers save and improve patient’s lives with innovative and highest quality products and we are currently looking for a Marketing Manager, CHD to join our ambitious Marketing team. In this specific role you will be overall responsible for marketing strategies and tactics aimed to achieve annual objectives and grow market shares. You stay current with market development, technical advances, guideline updates, clinical evidence and competitor intelligence, as well as support new products and therapies development.
As our marketing team is spread across Europe, we are flexible regarding the geographical location and you can be in either Italy, France, Germany, Sweden or UK. Hence, we welcome candidates from these parts.
You will report to the Vice President Global Marketing & Business Development.
Your work will focus on
- Developing overall strategies and innovative marketing plans (including product positioning and messaging, segmentation, pricing, customer targeting, tactics, budget etc.), presenting it to relevant internal stakeholders and support and monitor execution
- Developing relevant and engaging marketing materials, campaigns and content to be used on different communication channels
- Working strategically with direct sales force, distributors and the marketing team to create demand, enable sales, increase awareness of the therapy and drive market share and profitability for assigned business area
- Engaging with KOLs, conduct individual interviews, advisory boards or other voice of customer activities, as well as conducts field observations, to discover and understand unmet medical and customer needs
- Presenting business cases and make recommendations to evolve the portfolio and therapy pipeline
- Participating in the new product development process, providing market insights and ensuring alignment between product development and market needs.
- Serving as a marketing representative in key product development and clinical programs.
- Developing and communicating product launch and registration plans to Regulatory Affairs and Sales leadership
- Managing cross-functional launch teams to successfully launch new products
- Serve as a link between sales and supply chain to ensure sufficient stock management
The ideal candidate would have
- A master’s degree in business economics or biomedical engineering
- +5 years’ experience in interventional cardiology
- +5 years’ experience in Marketing (International responsibility preferred)
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel approximately 30%; domestic and international
- Excellent communication skills and relation builder with healthcare professionals, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Strong strategic agility and business acumen with a solid results orientation
- Solid therapy knowledge and clinical awareness
