Job Accountabilities:


  • To achieve agreed sales revenue targets by developing and maintaining business/relationships with travel agencies and their respective clients.
  • To closely monitor area sales performance and recommend actions where necessary to maximise revenue, share and loyalty.
  • Ensure the Sales Managers are kept well informed of assigned portfolio performance, market feedback, conditions, trends and competitor activities and make recommendations as appropriate to protect the overall interest and the profitability of the airline.
  • Create action plans to present to the Sales Manager based on market needs and feedback, competitor’s activities and subsequently assist in designing and developing the sales and marketing strategies for the territory to ensure growth in revenue and market share for TK.
  • To actively visit both travel agency and corporate clients on the required call frequency basis.
  • To actively engage with clients within portfolio and maintain the required calls frequency basis to build and maintain strong commercial relationships, and maintain necessary records, including sales call visits, topics discussed, agreements achieved.
  • Promote & position TK corporate and leisure products including special segments (marine, humanitarian, cruise, student, MICE).
  • To act as an ambassador for the company and attend industry functions, trade events, conferences and familiarization trips to establish contacts, network and promote the interests of TK in and out of office hours as required.
  • To negotiate agreements with corporate clients and review/assess performance.
  • To account manage all activity with corporate travel agencies and ensure the effective dissemination and communication of TK developments to assigned clients.
  • To conduct TK product training as required to ensure that assigned agencies are kept up to date with all TK products/services.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in civil aviation or tourism.
  • Excellent command of Italian and English.
  • Valid work permit or citizenship in the respective country (we are unable to provide or assist with work permits).
  • A team player who can also work independently when necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and other relevant informatics tools.
