Since opening in 1994, Wingstop has been on a mission to Serve the World Flavor. Today, we’re a $2B brand with 3,000+ restaurants globally and one of the fastest-growing concepts in the restaurant industry.

In 2026, Wingstop will open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Italy, starting in Milan. This is a ground-zero launch in a high-potential market, and we’re building a small, entrepreneurial team to lead the brand’s entry and long-term growth.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Marketing Strategist to lead the launch and early growth of Wingstop in Italy.

This role owns the end-to-end marketing strategy for market entry — from brand awareness and launch execution to driving profitable sales and long-term brand equity. You will work closely with the franchisor, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class brand opening and establish Wingstop with a new Italian consumer.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will initially operate as a one-person function, with the opportunity to build a team as the business scales.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Define and execute Wingstop’s entry-to-market strategy in Italy
  • Lead a bold, culturally relevant brand launch that builds awareness, relevance, and excitement
  • Drive launch KPIs and support same-store sales growth post-opening
  • Establish Wingstop as a distinctive, crave-worthy brand with Italian consumers

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Design and execute integrated marketing plans for brand launch and early growth
  • Build brand awareness and cut-through through bold, culturally relevant storytelling
  • Lead creative development across digital, social, content, PR, events, and in-store media
  • Manage social media and paid digital activity via agency partners (or in-house where applicable)
  • Work across PR, influencer marketing, ESG, and crisis communications to support brand reputation
  • Use consumer insights, data, and analytics to optimize campaigns, drive transactions, and increase average ticket
  • Partner closely with franchisor teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with global guidelines
  • Act as steward of Wingstop’s brand identity, visual system, and tone of voice across all touchpoints
  • Analyze performance and translate learnings into actionable improvements
  • Solve consumer and business challenges creatively and profitably, always keeping the guest at the center

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3–4+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Experience in restaurants, food & beverage, retail, or multi-location brands strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital, social, PR, content, and campaign development
  • Comfortable working with agencies and senior stakeholders
