Adjunct Faculty – Master of Business Administration

Location: Sigonella, Italy

Program Overview

UMGC’s MBA curriculum includes the following concentration areas: Cybersecurity Management and Policy, Cybersecurity Technology, Data Analytics, Human Resource Management, Finance, Global Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Project Management, General Management.

Required Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field aligned with one or more of the concentration areas listed above from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Professional experience in one or more of the listed concentration areas.
• Experience teaching adult learners in online and/or higher education environments strongly preferred.
• Applicants must reside locally.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed, and conveys a genuine energy and enthusiasm for their learning.
• Guide students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations.
• Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for the assessment of student work, and acknowledging student accomplishments.
• Demonstrate relevant and current subject‑matter expertise, and help students connect concepts across their academic program.
• Provide feedback to your program chair on possible curricular improvements.

Adjuncts are eligible for State of Maryland benefits and must cover total costs if enrolled. Salary & Steps

Hiring Range by Degree:

• Non‑PhD: Step 1 $903 – Step 16 $1,173 per credit hour
• PhD: Step 1 $931 – Step 16 $1,215 per credit hour

Position available and will remain open until filled. Salary is commensurate with experience.
