Master Thesis: Product Engineering (f/m/div)
Descrizione dell'offerta
Your Role
The Platform Analysis (PLA) team’s Product Engineers contribute to the development and production support for automotive applications by analyzing eNVM design and technology, generating test sequences and automated testing patterns, and providing data analysis to support quality, cost, and yield objectives. They also strengthen testing concepts for embedded memories and improve workflow automation to enhance project deliverables and mitigate complexity.
Projects
- Machine Learning Test Flow Generation : Create a machine learning model for automatic generation of multi‑platform executable test flows based on test specification documentation. The model will be trained with historical data of test specifications (human‑readable documents detailing each test and conditions) and test flows (machine‑readable sequences of tests to be executed in automated test equipment). Deliverables include documentation of the tool and validation of the generated tool.
- AI‑Enhanced Toolchain : Improve the existing toolchain by applying artificial intelligence techniques and developing new features. Enhancements: pattern recognition on bitmaps, a graphical user interface for test library and command management, an automatic reviewer of flows, and a conversion tool for production flows from different automated test equipment (replacing Perl with Python and enabling simultaneous management of multiple devices). The goal is to increase efficiency and productivity in engineering project development.
Your Profile
- Education: Pursuing a Master’s Thesis in Computer Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience: Knowledge of AI and machine learning.
- Working style: Excellent communication skills, high independence in problem solving, and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Programming and scripting tools: Python and other programming languages and tools.
- Language skills: Fluency in English.
