Job Location: Turin Area, Italy

Role Overview

The selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for activities related to production support and R&D. Specifically, the selected resource shall contribute to validation of materials and processes, definition of technical specifications and failure analysis/investigation on damaged and/or non-conforming components, partnering with other Departments (i. e. Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc. ) and directly interfacing with suppliers.

Qualification requirements

• Materials/Nanotechnology/ Engineering Master's Degree or similar background;
• Broad knowledge about metallic materials and experience on characterization tests;
• Laboratory operations experience (knowledge of procedures, equipment, etc.);
• Proficiency in English;
• Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);
• Commitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, reliability;
• Self-organization/self-motivation oriented mindset;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Excellent team-work attitude strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines.

Desired skills

• Knowledge about coating/surface treatments processes would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
