ABOUT THE ROLE - Mechanical Completation Coordinator


We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Completion Coordinator to join a major Oil & Gas project. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical construction activities and managing all mechanical completion phases up to handover to the commissioning team.


We have to cover this position by mid-June.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate site mechanical works (piping, static and rotating equipment, steel structures) during construction and pre-commissioning phases.
  • Supervise subcontractors, ensuring progress aligns with project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Manage mechanical completion documentation: checklists, MC dossiers, punch lists, test and inspection certificates.
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams (instrumentation, electrical, process) to ensure full integration of plant systems.
  • Support the commissioning team during the mechanical-to-commissioning handover process.
  • Attend coordination meetings and progress reviews with the client, engineering teams, and site management.
  • Monitor and enforce HSE standards during site activities.
  • Update CMS (Completion Management Systems) and issue MCC (Mechanical Completion Certificates) as per system turnover procedures.



Requirements :


  • Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in field coordination/supervision in Oil & Gas construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of plant construction, mechanical erection, and completion workflows.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, EN) and HSE regulations.
  • Ability to read and manage technical documentation: P&IDs, layouts, isometrics, MTOs, IFC drawings.
  • Excellent field coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of completion management tools (e.g. WinPCS, ProCoSys) is a plus.
