About the Role
We design and deliver innovative mechanical solutions for ground and space‑based optical applications. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support our team in designing, developing, and testing mechanical components. The ideal candidate is a lateral thinker with a passion for opto‑mechanics and astronomy. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, working closely with experienced engineers in mechanical, optical, electronic, and manufacturing areas.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Assist in preparing manufacturing drawings and bill of materials.
- Support integration procedures and documentation.
- Help with structural analysis under supervision.
- Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers.
- Contribute to structural and thermal test activities.
- Prepare basic reports and documentation.
Qualifications – Junior Mechanical Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience in high‑tech companies.
- University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Familiarity with engineering drawing standards.
- Good problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Basic English language skills (read and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Internship or academic project experience in mechanical design.
- Knowledge of structural or thermal analysis tools (Femap, Nastran, Ansys).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Knowledge of opto‑mechanics and astronomy.
