In this role you will drive the design-to-manufacturing transition for mechanical products, ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost‑efficient, and scalable. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support prototyping, validation, and ramp‑up, while leading changes through CR/CO processes. You will apply your design expertise with Creo to optimize components and assemblies and work with suppliers to validate feasibility. • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize manufacturing and assembly
• Drive the E2M process from concept to serial production
• Produce and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
• Collaborate with manufacturing, industrialization, quality, and supply chain teams
• Support prototyping, validation builds, and production ramp‑up phases
• Work closely with suppliers to validate design feasibility and manufacturing processes
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, design simplification, and performance improvement
• Manage engineering changes through CR (Change Request) and CO (Change Order) processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications, and safety requirements

Responsabilità

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 3-7+ years of experience in mechanical design with E2M or industrialization exposure
• Strong proficiency in PTC Creo
• Solid understanding of DFM/DFA methodologies
• Experience with PLM systems and BOM management
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, sheet metal, plastics, etc.)
• Experience supporting production ramp‑up and manufacturing validation
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on mindset
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
