The successful candidate will join the mechanical maintenance team and will be responsible for carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance work on industrial plant.
In particular, they will be responsible for the assembly and dismantling of pipework and valves, the alignment of pumps, and the overhaul of pumps and valves, and will provide support for mechanical maintenance activities in accordance with safety procedures and the company’s quality standards.
They will work alongside the operations team to ensure the plant operates correctly and that equipment is restored to working order in a timely manner.
Requirements
Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance
Good ability to assemble and dismantle pipework, flanges and valves
Experience in aligning pumps and overhauling pumps and valves
Ability to read technical drawings
Good manual dexterity and familiarity with the use of standard workshop tools
Accuracy, reliability and attention to safety regulations
Ability to work as part of a team and in industrial environments
Residence or domicile in the Torviscosa area and neighbouring areas
