DMD Solutions is a consulting company specialized in aerospace design and RAMS engineering, offering project outsourcing and engineering tool development. Our clients are manufacturers and maintainers of aeronautical products located in Europe. We help them achieve their engineering quality goals with a focus on certification.

What will I do?

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Engineer to support aircraft development and modification programs within a certified aerospace environment.

The role involves systems engineering activities, technical coordination with suppliers, and certification support across aircraft mechanical systems, including propulsion-related systems (fuel, engine, environmental control, pressurization) and airframe-related systems (hydraulics, landing gear, brakes, mechanical flight controls).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support system engineering activities in accordance with ARP4754A processes.
  • Provide engineering support for aircraft installations and system/equipment integration.
  • Contribute to system integration activities, including interface management with avionics and other aircraft systems.
  • Act as technical interface between internal departments and equipment suppliers.
  • Participate in technical meetings and design reviews; prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM), Engineering Coordination Memos (ECM), and technical presentations.
  • Support certification and homologation processes with Civil and Military Airworthiness Authorities (CS23/FAR23 framework).
  • Support airworthiness and customer support teams in troubleshooting and failure analysis for in-service aircraft.
  • Review and verify technical documentation exchanged with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering (preferred); Mechanical or related engineering degrees also considered.
  • Previous experience in aerospace systems design, development, integration, or testing.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes according to ARP4754A.
  • Knowledge of aerospace Test & Verification processes and certification regulations (CS23 / FAR23).
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including modelling and simulation (MATLAB/Simulink knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools (MS Teams / Webex).
  • Fluent technical English (written and spoken).
