In this role, you will contribute to the Equipment Department by translating sub-system needs into technical specifications and robust control solutions. You will work on mechanism and mechatronic development, from concept to verification, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and meeting project constraints. You will design and test control systems using Matlab/Simulink and real-time environments, calibrating and validating with hardware. This position offers the opportunity to shape mechanisms and control architectures for space-grade equipment while adhering to project schedules and costs.

• Subdivide requirements into subsystems and draft technical specs
• Design and verify control systems using electric actuators and sensors
• Calibrate control systems on hardware and perform real-time testing (LabVIEW/Simulink)
• Support mechanism design across mechanical, thermal, actuation, and control domains
• Develop and implement development & verification plans, test plans, and interface documents
• Assist in managing technical interfaces with customers, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers

Responsabilità

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or mechatronic engineering
• At least 4 years of experience in mechanism/mechatronic engineering
• Proven experience in developing mechanism products (specification, design, verification)
• Experience in model-based design and developing simplified mathematical models
• Working level fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Analytical and system-oriented thinking with cost and schedule awareness
