Role Purpose

Provide medical and scientific leadership to the National Leadership Team and engage both internal and external stakeholders, providing evidence and spaces for improving the value proposition of the Sandoz portfolio across the product lifecycle at Country, Cluster, Regional, and Global levels. Support Global / Region / Cluster Medical Leads in executing medical activities within the Medical community and integrate with Business execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, execution, and reporting of Medical Affairs Country Plan ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Build Medical Affairs strategy and plans, publications, educational activities, and communication initiatives involving Medical Experts.
  • Develop, contribute, and review presentation materials for advisory boards, investigator meetings, protocol training, etc., aligned with MLR workstream.
  • Serve as a key medical expert for internal stakeholders and external customers, including healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups.
  • Provide capability building plans for field medical associates, including disease-specific and product-specific training.
  • Lead and develop the team as a coach, embodying our Values and inspiring the community through our pioneering access purpose and mindset.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Scientific degree, MD preferred
  • Fluent in English; Italian is a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in Medical Affairs or R&D in Life Sciences
  • At least 3+ years experience leading high-performing teams
  • Experience in Scientific Exchange, external engagement, NIS, Epidemiology Studies, Medical Governance, Clinical Trial Design, Data & Reporting
