In GNV, we are seeking medici di bordo for our Ro / Pax units dedicated to passenger traffic.

Selected candidates will be responsible for onboard healthcare activities.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Captain, the onboard doctor provides general and emergency care to passengers and crew in case of accidents, illnesses, or injuries, ensuring full confidentiality.

In case of medical evacuation, decisions are made in collaboration with the Captain and the land-based medical department.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following essential requirements :

• Medical degree;
• Registration with the Medical Board;
• Valid passport or identity card.

Additional preferred requirements include :

• Good knowledge of English;
• Navigation booklet with certification for passenger ships and STCW, biennial, and Annex 2 valid;
• Previous experience.
