MEP Project Manager

Apex Alliance Hotel Management is a European hotel development and management company operating a growing portfolio of internationally branded hotels across multiple markets. We partner with leading global brands such as Marriott International, Hilton and Radisson Hotel Group, delivering projects from initial concept and development through to full operational management.

Our strength lies in combining development, construction and operations expertise under one structure , allowing us to create hotels that are not only built efficiently, but also perform successfully in the market.

We are currently expanding our development activities in Italy and are looking for experienced professionals to join us on-site.

Key coordination

• Project Manager (overall project lead)
• Local MEP engineers and consultants
• General contractor and MEP subcontractors
• Brand partner technical services team
• Local authorities and inspectors

Scope

• Full responsibility for all MEP systems within a hotel development project in Italy
• Technical oversight from design validation through installation and commissioning
• Coordination between consultants, contractors and brand requirements
• Ensuring systems readiness for hotel operations

Core Responsibilities

• Review and validate MEP design in line with brand standards and operational requirements
• Coordinate MEP consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee installation quality and compliance on site
• Ensure alignment between architectural, structural and MEP solutions
• Manage MEP-related budget lines and cost implications
• Monitor timelines for MEP works and proactively address delays
• Ensure compliance with Italian regulations, codes and safety standards
• Lead testing, commissioning and system handover
• Support pre-opening phase ensuring all systems are fully operational
• Provide structured reporting on MEP progress, risks and issues

Requirements

Ideal Profile

• 5–10+ years of experience in MEP engineering within hotel or hospitality projects (hospitality is a must)
• Strong experience with building systems in operational hotel environments
• Experience working internationally; experience abroad is a strong advantage
• Experience in Italy or with Italian standards is a strong advantage
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and BMS systems
• Ability to coordinate multiple technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent English required; Italian is a strong advantage
• Structured and disciplined in technical documentation and reporting
