Job Title
Metal Pre-Treatment Technician (SPS Area)
Overview
As a Metal Pre-Treatment Technician, you will be a key member of the organization COSP as SPS technician, focused on metal pretreatment process & product.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge of pre-treatment processes (degreasing, phosphating, pickling, rinsing, passivation). Deliverables:
Ability to manage bath products & process parameters (titrations, pH, conductivity). Familiarity with chemical dosing. Ability to read technical documentation and process specifications. Write and maintain technical documentation. Ability to make training customers. Availability to travel, make business trips across multiple geographical Italy areas including occasional overtime.
Goals: Collaborate with Market managers to get and start up Pretreatment pipeline to satisfy business growth. Areas of work: all TIERS customers present on Italian territory. Team structure: TIERS Italy Team.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in metal pretreatment. Previous experience preferred: Competitor Company Pretreatment - Automotive or Industrial Coating environment. Education (required): Technical diploma or vocational in Chemical, Industrial, Expertise. Languages: Basic knowledge of English. Knowledge of safety, environmental and chemical handling regulations. Experience using Microsoft Office tools. Ability to write and maintain technical documentation.
