For our HQ in Novedrate (CO) , we are looking for a Mold Designer to join and strengthen our mold design team.
The team is responsible for the technical development and engineering of molds and dies dedicated to three different manufacturing technologies:
- Sheet metal stamping dies
- Plastic injection molds
- Zamak die castinmolds
Your Role
Working closely with the R&D department, the internal tooling department, and the production team, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing technical drawings and prototypes of new products or components
- Designing molds and dies for the production of new products and components
- Developing 3D models and detailed technical drawings of tools and related components
- Supporting the internal tooling department during mold manufacturing and fine-tuning activities
- Investigating production issues and implementing corrective or improvement actions
- Optimizing cycle times and contributing to continuous mold improvement and maintenance activities
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
- Previous experience in mold design
- A Mechanical Engineering diploma; a degree in Mechanical Engineering will be considered a plus
- Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software such as Creo, NX, or equivalent
- An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously
