Our fully customer-oriented approach makes Habasit the best supplier of high quality power transmission and transport solutions for any application .Role descripti on He/She is responsible of designing moulds for thermoplastic injection moulding and, if necessary, dies for powder extrusion starting from the specific technical needs of the Customer s.Main tasks and responsibilit iesTakes care of the feasibility analysis and development of new products starting from the specifications received from R&D Depart ment Directly carries out the calculation and the design of injection moulds (and extrusion dies) according to the defined specifications and the features of the machines, in order to achieve the best possible efficiency process l evel Follows the mould production process in collaboration with the mold making man ager Takes care of safety aspects in order to guarantee the respect of the safety direct ives Supports Production in case of problems or defects of the pro duct Prepares spare parts for existing moulds based on maintenances prog rams Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ski lls. Good communication skills and ability to work in a t eam.Require ments Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificat ions. Knowledge of Cad 3 D parametric software (plus CREO)Knowledge in plastic molding and quality co ntrol Strong attention to detail and problem-solving sk ills.
