Overview
MONCLER is looking for an EMEA Retail Maintenance Manager (F/M). The role reports to the EMEA Retail Operations Manager and will supervise maintenance activities for all boutiques in the region and for the EMEA Corporate office in Paris. The goal is to create a sustainable, safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and customers, ensuring compliance with all global and legal maintenance guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment (electrical, air conditioning, lifting, special units, furnishings) through preventive and curative maintenance, checking installations with service providers.
- Apply defined processes, implement the Facilities process with a focus on cost control, quality, and efficiency.
- Plan and organize maintenance company interventions, manage external service providers to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused service to store managers, and identify/select new suppliers as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections and contract audits to monitor services, recommend improvements, and raise awareness of energy and environmental management.
- Manage all maintenance contracts to achieve KPIs.
- Track and manage maintenance costs, adhere to budgets and deadlines, and pursue efficiency improvements.
- Identify internal customer needs, conduct feasibility studies, and manage technical and administrative aspects, including ticketing, quotations, and invoices in Moncler systems.
- Present recommendations and reports to the EMEA Retail Operations Manager regarding work plans to meet store‑specific requirements and objectives.
Position requires frequent business trips across Europe.
Qualifications
- Graduated in building engineering, architecture, or related technical field; at least 5 years of experience in similar roles within a structured international retail company.
- Experience managing service providers for equipment maintenance (cleaning, electricity, HVAC, elevators, plumbing, layout, etc.) and expertise in electrical, mechanical, anti‑intrusion, and smoke detection systems.
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and strict follow‑up.
- Team‑working personality with good relationships at all organizational levels and strong listening ability.
- Proactive, rigorous, methodical, with a developed sense of service.
- Comfortable with IT tools (Office Pack, AutoCAD, formalization, and reporting).
- Working proficiency in English and Italian required.
